Pipestone County Doors Are Open!

1/14/2021, PIPESTONE, MN – Pipestone county offices will be opening their doors back up to the public. We still strongly encourage you to make appointments a head of time! 

Please call the office you wish to make an appointment with or schedule one online. The Assessor, Treasurer, Recorder and Passport Offices have an online appointment system that can be accessed through the county website on the homepage by clicking on Make An Appointment at the top left of the page.

Policies and Procedures For Appointments

  • You will be asked for your name, address, phone number and nature of your visit. 
  • Visits to mulitple Courthouse Offices will require separate appoinments.
  • If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, cough, fever, shortness of breath, muscle aches, or sore throat we ask that you not schedule an appoinment. If you have been exposed to, or been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting results, we ask that you do not schedule an appoitment at this time. 
  • If in between the time of your call and your appoitment time, you develop any of the symptoms listed above please call and cancel. 
  • Visitors with appointments at the Courhouse will be met at the East Annex Entrance by an office employee and escorted to the office. Only the visitor with the appointment will be admitted. If an interpreter or peronal assistant is required they will be admitted with the appoitment holder. 
  • Masks are to be worn by visitors to county offices. If you do not have a mask, a face cloth covering such as a bandana or scarf may be used. 
  • Once the appointment is concluded you will be escorted out of the building by an employee.
